The larger scale capability of AI to filter resumes can reduce time to hire by close to 50% with an increase in fit (Mousa & Mahmood, 2021). Its workforce planning is also made more precise by its predictive analytics, which tune people to positions before the gaps are created (Sparrow & Makram, 2022). The installation of transparent audits of the algorithm creates trust and promotes HR adoption in all functions (Raghavan et al., 2020). Collectively, these attributes demonstrate the fact that AI is no longer optional in current HR.
